I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I have been very busy and haven't had much time to post. Lacrosse season is going great! Also I just went to my family reunion and I had soooo much fun. I got to see so much of my family and we really just had a great time together. Solo and Ensemble was great too. We only got an excellent not a superior but I still think we did a superior job (haha). The schools are all on spring break so I am really missing band because I love going. Lately band has been extra fun because we are getting harder music. Well I'm probably boring you with my excessive talk about nothing if you wouldn't mind please give me some ideas to post about!!!!!

By the way the picture has nothing to do with the post (obviously) but it is reallllllllllllyy cute!!!!

Solo and Ensemble

Today (Friday) I have a nerve racking assignment for band. I have to go to a city about 30 or 40 minutes away. I'm going to the High School that is there and I am going to go into a room with my flute, my self, and my band music. There will be a judge and a piano player in the room. I will give the judge an original copy of my music and then I will tune with the pianist. After that I will play a song on my flute for the judge and have him tell me if I was really good, absolutely terrible, or OK. Then I will walk out of the room and finally be OK again. I just hope that my nerves don't get the best of my playing. I am playing at 8:50 p.m. so I have to have my nervousness welling up inside of me all day until I can finally play. Once I'm done playing for the judge I am never looking at the song I'm playing ever again. Wish me luck!

Lacrosse Season Starting Again!!!!!!!!!

The thing I've been waiting for has started!! LACROSSE!!! I'm so happy!! Of course my friend Julia is very upset because now we can't hang out as much but to you Julia: We can still hang out just not on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We still have Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and we see each other every Sunday.
Our first practice was on Tuesday and it was AWESOME!!!!! Sadly I have a knee injury so I can't sprint which is my favorite thing to do. My dad is the coach though so he wont let me until my knee is completely healed. I can't wait till our first game!!! It will be really fun because I just love the feeling I get when I am out no that field. At first I'm really nervous but once I start playing I have a rush of excitement go through me and I have so much fun. So if you don't already play lacrosse I suggest you start. Even if you think you would not do good well nobody does at first. Just give it a try and I'm sure you'd love it (and it's so much fun that you will try even harder to be good)!!

The Bass Flute (The coolest thing ever)

So as I've talked about before I play the flute but I decided that I would take a look at a bass flute (thats the one at the top of the pic that curls). It looks sooooooooooooo cool and I really want to play it. Im pretty sure that it has the same fingerings as a regular flute so I think it would be pretty easy. It is an octave lower than a regular flute.In the picture on the left corner are two piccolos those are one octave higher than the regular flute. I can already play that though so it are not nearly as interesting to me. The only thing is I have no idea how on earth I am supposed to get a bass flute so sadly me dream to play it will never come true but I will try every possibility to play it and I really hope that I can. After further inspection of the picture it seems that the bass flutes keys are in somewhat of a different position than what the flute that I am used to playing has. I still think that if I were to scoot my hand over a little bit if I played one that it would be the same. Now I am going to look at how expensive it is to get a bass flute (not that I can afford it but it will be fun to see).

My New Digital Camera!

A few months ago I decided that I really wanted a digital camera. So I started looking online and I found a few and then I just had to choose one and raise enough money to get it. So I chose a Kodak easy share (M893) it was $130 and I only had about $36 so I realized I had to find a way to get the rest of that money. Well about 2 months passed by and I had gotten up to about So I started trying to find ways to earn money then a lady that I know asked me to babysit for her. She has three children and I thought "well this is a great way to earn some money for that camera" so I said yes. Then I babysat for her for 10hrs. I ended up getting $75 and then I had $111 so I only needed about seven more dollars. Then I went online and looked at the camera again and it was only $109!!! They had put it on sale for the holidays. So I got it!!! It still hasn't come in but I can hardly wait till it does. The picture is of the exact one that I got. (Isn't it purrty!!!!)

Snow In Louisiana!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it!!!! My grandparents live in Louisiana and this morning one of my grandparents called and told us it was snowing!!!!! I am soooooooooooooooooo jealous why can't it snow in Florida? Well I know the answer to that but I find it very unfair. When I say snow I don't mean just a little snow I mean it is stuck to the ground. They are so lucky. Ever since I moved here from Colorado I have wished for a "White Christmas" even though I knew it would never happen. Or at least there is not a very big chance of it ever snowing in Florida again. Hey at least we've been having lots of cool fronts. :)

My Band Concert!!!

So tomorrow I have a band concert at the Middle School that i go to band for. It is a Christmas concert and my band sounds great (not to brag or anything). We have been working on the music for quite some time and I am soooooooooooooooo exctied!!!! My band director is THE best and he really knows how to put on a great show. The only sad thing about it is that only one person in my family can come :(. My mom this is because my brother and my sister have jobs, my dad is going to a mens get to gether with some of his friends, and my grandparents (who don't live in this state) went home yeturday (they were here for my b-day). So if you know me personally I would love it if you came it starts a 7:00 p.m. and if you need directions just call us and we will tell you how to get there. :)

Yes it is true I saw a minute man!!!!!!!!! It was Einstien! See at the school I go to band for the schedule is changing every week for 4th 5th and 6th period and I go for 5th period so the bell had just rung and as I walked out THERE HE WAS!!!!!! It was soooooooooo awesome!!!! I didn't hear him say anything but it was still cooool!!!!!!!

So if you are into christain rock WayFest is the place to be. I went last year and had the time of my life with some of my closest friends. This year I'm going again. It will be so cool. This time almost ALL of my closest friends will be there. We have lawn seats which I love cause you can run around and dance all you want so if you want to go you can just go to wayfm.com and click on the big picture that says WayFest and then click the link to ticket master and get your tickets as soon as possible. Lately I have been thinking about how beautiful the night time is. The other night I was playing a game called "Bang". Every time I got out I would lay on the ground and look at the sky. It was so beautiful. The clouds were amazing! I could have lain there all night. I love the stars and the moon too. I know this was a random post but I just had to get out how beautiful the night time is.

I think the coolest thing to do would be to go the beach at night and just lay on the sand and look at the sky, to hear the waves crashing on the shore. It would just be amazing!!! Just look at the picture I love it!! I mean just imagine actually being there at the time this picture was taken it would be soooooo beautiful!

My Trip To Louisisana

So I don't know if I told you guys but I went to Louisiana to see my grandparents. I love my grandparents house because it can trick people so easily. On the outside it looks exactly like a barn but when you get inside it is such a beautiful house. They built it themselves so that they could move out of the trailer they lived in ever since my dad was a child. They live on 5 acres and built the house on the same land that the trailer was and still is on. When we go we always go to Jefferson Island. This has Jefferson's old house on it. My grandma sometimes gives tours there. I love going around the mansion when there is no one there for a tour (That is what the picture is of). The house is also surrounded by a huge, beautiful, enormous garden that is such a pretty thing to look at. The mansion also has a huge front yard. Also when I am in Louisiana there is a Bela-Russian girl there that my grandma takes in every year from Belarus (obviously). She still lives in Belarus but goes down to Louisiana for six weeks and it adds a year to her life. She comes down with many other Bela-Russians and they do lots of things together to make them feel more comfortable. She has come for the past 3 years. She is completely comfortable with all of us now. My trip to Louisiana was so cool. It rocked my socks off!!
I would give more pictures of the gardens but I can't find any.

Hello, sorry I haven't been posting lately but the fact that I am at my grandparents house may have something to do with that. Anyway as you can see this post is about the game Guitar Hero. At my grandparents house my aunt has the game, so she brought it over for us to play. I had never played it until now and my brother and I played it so much that we almost passed medium. So if you haven't played it yet you should so try it!!! Oh and they came out with the game Rock Band so if you have or had the chance to try it come tell me because I can't wait to play it!!!

My Summer Plans

So this summer is going to be awesome!! Like all summers I will be going to see my grandparents and we will have an awesome time with them. Then when I come back I will hopefully get to spend the rest of the summer with my friends. The only bad thing about my summer is because of the fact that I am home-schooled and we started late I have to do some school over the summer. But it isn't that much so it isn't that bad. Then I hope that once we catch up with all the work that we have to do it will be a totally fun filled summer. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT SUMMER TOO!!!!!!! My Dog and His Strange Days as a Seven Year Old Cutie Pie

The other day my friend and I were sitting in my room looking at the most adorable puppy in the world (that's my dog). He started starring at us and then suddenly dropped his head like somebody pushed it down. He picked it up and put it down again in the same way. Then he looked straight at the spot he was hitting his head and rammed his face in to it as fast and hard as he had his head. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen him do in my life. Then earlier today he was standing in the same spot for a long time looking at the same spot in the living room now it wasn't just a regular thing a dog would look at. No instead it was the corner backside of a couch. He starred and starred until somebody opened the door and he ran outside. Plus he has been moving his mouth in a way that makes him look like he is talking. As if he were a baby just learning how to talk. I don't know if it is just from his old age but whatever it is, it is very weird. This is not a real picture of my dog but it is adorable because it is still a mini schnauzer.

Painting My Room!!

I started painting my room on Friday April 11th. I painted it a light aqua blue and a dark aqua blue. The pattern is the lighter color on half of three of my walls and then there is a white strip under the light blue. Then I put a darker aqua color under the white strip. On the last wall which is the biggest is all white. Then I am going to put the two color polka dots a brown and a dark blue on the white strip and on the big wall that is all white. It is the prettiest room in the world I love it. This is an awesome place but it is not my room just to let you know.

Einstien Isn't Gone

Today Padfoot and I were going to the school to go to band when we saw "The Minute Men" Einstein was back. He said some interesting things but I can't tell you until I have twenty. That should be soon but I can't believe that Einstein is finally back. I am really happy because Einstein has always been my favorite. We are sure he was sick because of what they said to each other. At first he almost ruined the whole conversation and we got really upset that we would stop hearing really stupid and funny saying of "The Minute Men" but once he left we got a little something (I would tell you what it was but you have to wait for the post called "The New Ten Phrases of "The Minute Men"). I will tell you if this new man is a new Minute Man or just a guy we see a few times. Einstein Is Forever Gone???5

As you already know "The Minute Men" are a group of three. Well sadly not anymore! We have been waiting for Einstein to come with The Red Guy and The Tall Guy but he hasn't been there for days. I know I told you that we just thought he was always at meetings nut now we are pretty positive that he is gone for good. It hurts me so much to know that he is now always going to be gone for many reasons but I will only tell you two: 1. He has made "The Minute Men" only a two some and 2. He had the coolest nickname. I hope you are not to heart broken but just in case you are just remember that soon the new 10 phrases will come out! That makes 20!!!!! I am still sad but hurray ten whole new "Minute Men" phrases!! The pictures show how there was three and now there is only two (tears streaming).

My Friends And I's Forts

All of my friends have forts together. They are in my friends neighbor hood. We have forts separately and together. One time I was in a fort with my two friends and right as we were leaving a lady looks out of her window and yells quietly "Get out of those bushes!" We all stand there and I asked "Did she just say get out of those bushes?" So we look up in the window and again she yells "Get out of those bushes!" Then we hear the window close and the door behind her close. We start running away because we think she's coming after us but it ends up she just left her room. It was the funniest thing ever. We have decided that the next time that we go if she yells at us to get out of the bushes again we will say back "Get out of your house!" then we'll run away and get back to her house. We also decided that we would make each of the forts together and make a big country. Each street will be a different town.

My Trip to Disney

A few days ago I got back from all four of the Disney parks. I went on almost all the rides and I watched some cool 3-D videos. One of my favorite rides was Rockin' Roller Coaster, it was so cool the say that they put everything together. If you have never been on it and you like upside down roller coasters this ride is for you. Another awsome ride was The Tower Of Terror. Everybody probablly knows what that one does so I am not going to take up all the time and space to explain it. Another awsome thing about my trip to Disney was the resort I stayed in. It was on Disney property and had THE BEST service ever. We had two full things of desert brought to us for free. The first night we got the deserts was because of some trouble with what card we would put the room service on, since we had the tiniest problem they brought us cookies and brownies. Then the next night my dad said that he wanted something chocolate and asked us if we ordered any, we said no and since the guy who brought us our food heard us he brought us some more deserts that had chocolate in them. The trip was great and I loved all the parks. In Epcot my favorite ride was Mission:Space (just incase you wanted to know). Just to let you know if you haven't been on Rockin' Roller Coaster it shoots you from 0mph ti 60mph in 2 seconds. Then you go upside down and through towns. That is what the picture is when it is shooting 60mph.

As you know the things that "The Minute Men" say make no sense at all acorrding to my other posts. They have finally said their first ten phrases. The three might have been broken up but there is still two of the guys that say nonsensicle things. I also wanted to tell you about the three names Padfoot and I made up for them 1.The Red Guy 2.The Tall Guy and 3. Einstien.

The reason we named them these names is because one of them has red hair, another is tall, and another one wears circular glasses and has poofy hair. So if I ever want to tell you who said what now you can know their nicknames.

Lax The Most Awsome Sport Ever!!

I love the sport Lacrosse a.k.a. Lax. It is my favorite sport which would make sense because I play it. I play it with Padfoot which you will see if you go to her blog (which is Middle Years). We have played together for 2 years. I have played for three years and love just getting out on the field. When I was in Lax. last year I scored a goal in every game and I will try to do that again as my New Years resolution. I have lots of friends on the team that I am on and one of them loves penguins just like me!! When we were asked what the team mascot or name should be the first thing that she said was "The penguins" I was totally in for it but some of the other girls weren't so we still are trying to decide what the team name should be. When the girl said penguins I was really excited that it would actually be that as the name. But then when some of the girls said no I was 1.shocked and 2. sad. I am hoping that the name will at least something close to as cool as penguins but I seriously doubt it.

My friend Padfoot and I saw two of them once again having strange conversations. We heard them talking about giving somebody a quiz at their house. It made no sense I am so happy (explains the smile). Padfoot and I believe that the other man in "The Minute Men" is sick or has been in many meetings. A Very Strange Ride!!

If you have ever been to Magic Kingdom you may know about the ride "The Carousel of Progress". This summer I went to Magic Kingdom and Islands of Adventure with my friend for her b-day. We were about to leave and we didn't want to, so we stopped at the nearest thing to stall us from leaving. It happened to be this ride. In this ride it takes you through all the years of different years of technology." Theres a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day. Theres a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrows just a dream away!!".This is a strange song that is played in every scene of the ride it is very annoying but it is funny.As you can see in the picture there is a dog, and for some strange reason the dog lives through the whole thing. Now we're talking like a hundred year period. Yet some how the dog stayes alive the whole time. In "The Carousel of Progress" you spin to each different scene of the stage. All of the actors and actresses are robots. The ride shows the different technology(as I told you before) in the last scene it goes to the future and in that scene the dog is still alive. Well I think I have told you enough of the details you should really go on it. It is the senond best thing there (first is Space Mountain of course)

The Most Awsome Game Ever!!!5

This is the coolest online game ever. You get to mess with some random animated guy that is on a sled riding lines. This game (line rider) lets you make him go in crazy loops, really fast, and even go in completely random lines. If he falls off of a line then he will keep falling and falling and falling. You could sit on the computer all day and it would keep falling all day and longer (don't try that). If you want to play click here I promise you that you will love it. If you don't you are weird.

Lately the Minute Men have not been showing up!!! We finally remembered to bring the composition book and they stopped showing up. I am so upset!! Valentine's Day!!!

As you obviosly know, Valentine's day is coming up. All my friends are starting to make cards for everybody. I know that they are kind of late, but hey it's just for the fun of it. I love all the love on Valentine's day. It gives me a special feeling to get cards and have people say Happy Valentine's day and to say it to other people. I love the shape of a heart so I really like Valentine's Day, because obviosly the symbol is a heart. That is why I put the picture (you probablly already knew that). I know this text color doesn't exactly match the green but I just had to use it since it is Valentine's Day tomorrow. hope you have a great Valentine's Day filled with lots of love and laughs, because I like laughs!

The Minute Men

As you may or may not know I am home schooled, so I go to my old school to go to band. My friend Padfoot and I go together and wait in the main office for the bell to ring. While we are waiting there are always three teachers who come in on there lunch break. Every time they come in they are talking to each other and my friend Padfoot and I always catch the end of there conversation. Usually we catch wierd things like, he got canned, or astros, and something about horses but no matter what we hear it never makes any sense. We call them the Minute Men (not trying to copy the movie) because they come in for one minute and then leave. When they come in we always try to stick together things that they have said in resent days. So we decided that we would try to bring a notebook to write down everything that they say we have never remembered but hope to in the past. Of course this picture has nothing to do with the post but you have to admit it is pretty cool.

As you know I love penguins and I especially love them when they are just babies, they are the cutest things ever. I love it when baby penguins are trying to situate themselves correctly, and they lift their flippers up in the air like in the second picture. I figured you would like to see them and look at all of their cuteness. I just love them!!!! They are so CUTE!!!!

My Dog

I love my dog, he is the cutest miniature schnauzer ever. One thing that makes him completely adorable is his ears. Most people that have any type of schnauzers (miniature, standard, and giant) clip the pointy ears. My family on the other side decided not to. So when my dog (Pepper) gets excited he puts his ears up it is the cutest thing ever! I love the way that he gets when he is being chased by my dad. (I would give a real picture of my dog but I can't find one on the stupid computer so these should do.) My dog also loves to chase squirrels, mostly because his breed is known to hunt rats in Germany. It is in his blood to go straight for the squirrel. I used the first picture so you could see that the ears are not clipped. The dogs in the first picture are the cuter of the two to me. The dog in the other picture is a miniature but he does have his ears clipped. I figured I would put these here so that you could see the difference and so I could tell you that I think they are so much cuter without clipped ears.

Hockey Games (cold as a penguins lounge)

Now that you know that I love penguins and the cold let me give you and example. Last night I went to a hockey game with my dad, brother, and some of my dads friends from work. Now obviosly I like to be cold every once in a while so I thought this would be a great experience to let you know one place that I got to be cold. When we first got there I had no idea how much fun being in a suite would be and how much food there would be. The game was the Panthers against the Sabbers. I wanted the Panthers to win, but honestly I am one not a very big hockey fan and I am not a very big Panthers fan, instead I love the Colorado Avalanche. This is mostly because it is cold up there so I like it. Anyway, as I was cheering for the Panthers more and more food was being brought in to the suite. Every time I turned around there was another giant tray of food to eat. Once they brought in the deserts I already felt like blowing up, but hey it's desert in a suite so I figured why not. The cake I had was so big my brother couldn't even eat it all (and trust me he eats a lot). So anyway we split a piece of the cake and it was still huge. I ate most of it but eventually I knew that if I ate anymore I would burst at the seams. So I decided not to eat anything else. Although I had a great time I was completely wiped out and ready when we had to leave. Sadly the Panthers lost, but hey it was great!

Penguins

As you can obviously see I love penguins, that is why my new blog is called The Precious Penguin. I have loved penguins ever since I moved to Florida because of something one of my friends had. I have a penguin collection, in it I have stuffed animals, cups, mugs, bags, balloons and much more. I love the way that they waddle and the way they huddle up together, I think it is so cute. I loved the movie Zurfs Up, Happy Feet, and Madagascar. I really liked the penguin in Happy Feet when he was just a baby. He was the cutest thing and he looked a lot like a penguin in a poster I have. When I saw this picture I immediately knew it was the one for this blog. Hope you like this blog and all thats on it and will be on it in the future.
